PONDAN Special Steamed Cake can be made into Chopped beef layered steam cake, Trio-layered steam cake, Sarikaya jam-layered steam cake, Steam rose cake, and Zebra steam cake (see front cover).
Ingredients:
- Wheat flour
- Corn starch
- Sugar
- Skim milk powder
- Baking powder
- Emulsifier (E471,
E472b, E477).
- Vanilla flavour
How to make :

BOIL steamer with maximum heat.

BEAT eggs at high speed for ± 4 minutes until foamy.

ADD Pondan Spesial steam Cake Mix, then beat again at high speed for ± 7 minutes until cake batter is smooth, white & thick.

TAKE 1/3 of cake batter, add diluted cocoa powder then mix well until even.

ADD cooled melted margarin into the white cake batter, then mix well until even.

PREPARE 22 cm pan generously greased with margarine.
POUR 4 spoonful of white cake batter right on the middle of the pan, then followed by 2 spoonful of chocolate cake batter right on top of the white one. Repeat this step until all cake batter is used. Remember that the last cake batter to be put is the white one.

STEAM with maximum heat for ± 25 min. Do not open the lid during steaming, steaming is done when tooth pick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
