The dark chocolate compound does not contain milk. It’s often used as an ingredients for cookies and other snacks. The content of its own chocolate spread is between 30% (sweet dark) to 70-80% (extreme dark).

  • Milk Chocolate Compound

This type of chocolate is the most widely sold in the market. Milk chocolate is made from a mixture of sugar, cocoa, liquid chocolate, milk, and vanilla so it tastes sweeter. Milk chocolate should contain at least 10% liquid chocolate.

A white chocolate bar does not contain any chocolate-based ingredients. The ‘chocolate’ name is obtained from its cocoa butter so there is no dominant chocolate flavor. The dominant taste would only be vanilla or another flavor. Standard white chocolate should contain at least 20% cocoa butter, 14% milk and 55% sugar.
