Baked Banana Cake

Baked Banana Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

315 grams all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking soda

A pinch of salt

200 grams granulated sugar

150 grams brown sugar

115 grams unsalted butter (softened)

2 eggs

4 ripe bananas (mashed)

150 ml buttermilk

150 grams walnuts (chopped)

How to make baked banana cake:

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Grease two cake pans for baking the cake. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside. In a large bowl, cream together white sugar, brown sugar, and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the mashed bananas. Alternately add the flour mixture with buttermilk, stirring until just incorporated. Fold in chopped walnuts. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Remove cake pans from the oven and allow to cool. Serve.
