Surabaya Layer Cake & Swiss Roll Recipe

Ingredients:
- 400g PONDAN Surabaya Layer Cake premix
- 12 eggs (8 whole eggs + 4 yolks only)
- 150g margarine
- 100g butter
How to Make:
- Beat margarine and butter at high speed for ± 15 minutes. Preheat the oven (200°C).
- Beat eggs with a mixer at high speed for ± 2 minutes until fluffy.
- Add PONDAN Surabaya Layer Cake premix and beat again at high speed for ± 7-8 minutes until the batter thickens. Add beaten margarine and butter, then mix evenly. Divide the batter into 3 parts, add 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder (4g) dissolved in 2 tablespoons of hot water + chocolate paste (included in the package) to one part of the batter, leave the other batter plain.
- Pour each portion of the batter into a 22x22cm pan lined with parchment paper and greased with margarine. Bake the three pans with high heat (200°C) for ± 25 minutes until cooked.
- Let the cakes cool briefly, then peel the top surface of the cakes so that the whipped cream or jam sticks. Arrange the cakes into Surabaya layer cakes. Ready to be enjoyed.
