Ingredients:

  • 400g Pondan Martabak premix
  • 2 egg yolks (30g)
  • 350cc and 150cc water
  • 60g margarine/butter, melted

How to Make:

  1. Whisk Pondan Martabak premix, baking powder (included in the package), egg yolks, and 350cc water with a hand mixer at medium speed for 10 minutes.
  2. After whisking with a hand mixer, add the remaining 150cc water and stir until smooth. Let it rest for 1 hour (60 minutes).
  3. Weigh 285g (300cc) of the batter, then add 20g (2 full tablespoons) of melted margarine/butter, stir until well combined.
  4. Heat a 21cm diameter non-stick frying pan over medium heat for ± 5 minutes. Pour the batter into the frying pan.
  5. Bake for ± 7 minutes until the center of the batter starts to form holes (forming holes like a beehive), sprinkle with granulated sugar, cover, and reduce the heat. Wait until the top of the martabak is dry and no longer wet (± 3 minutes). Remove the edges of the martabak using an iron spatula, lift the martabak onto a cutting board.
  6. Spread margarine on the top of the martabak and sprinkle with desired fillings (chocolate sprinkles, finely chopped roasted peanuts, grated cheese, sesame seeds) and pour sweetened condensed milk on top. Fold the martabak in half and spread margarine/butter on the outer skin, then cut into desired sizes. Repeat the process for the next tray. Ready to serve.

Been on Single Bet Calculator for a good few months, usually at weekends when the football’s on, so this is just my experience. The game selection is bigger than I expected — somewhere around 3,000 games going by the counter, with the big names in there: Pragmatic Play, Yggdrasil, Microgaming. Sweet Bonanza and Book of Dead are my usual go-to, though I’ve had more luck on the Megaways stuff.

The welcome offer was match up to ?300 plus 50 spins, and you’re looking at wagering of 35x which is fair enough for the UK market. To be fair, I only cleared it because I was playing anyway — you’ve got 72 hours to use them, which is a bit stingy. A no deposit offer floats about too — about 20 spins when you complete KYC, hardly a fortune though.

Live section is where I actually spend most of my time. Evolution power it, so you get actual dealers, about 40-odd tables, plus stuff like — Crazy Time, Monopoly Live, that lot. Never had a stream drop on me, and that matters when you’re on the train. You can see what’s running right now via double bet calculator since these things change monthly.

Cashouts at Single Bet Calculator have been decent — e-wallet took about a day both times, Visa took the usual couple of days. You’ve got Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller and Paysafe, deposits start at ?10. Verification was the annoying bit — they wanted a utility bill and it sat there two days.

Registration’s quick, no messing, UKGC licensed which is the main thing I check first. No app on the store, but the site scales fine on Android and iOS and honestly I don’t miss it. Support at Single Bet Calculator runs round the clock, but you’ll wrestle with an automated agent before a human shows up. The actual agents knew what they were doing.
